What is Mediation?
Mediation is a process by which opposing parties come to a resolution of their differences with the help of an impartial third party. Resolution occurs only when both parties agree upon the terms of the settlement. AIM Mediators are particularly qualified to assist the parties in working out their differences. This resolution allows the parties to avoid continued litigation which can be both costly and time consuming. Mediation is more than just an opportunity to resolve differences. It is an opportunity for the respective parties to control the outcome of the process. At some point, there will be an arbiter of the facts, whether it be a judge or a jury, who will decide the future of the case. Mediation with AIM's experienced Florida Supreme Court Certified Civil Mediators allows the participants to take control of that decision.
